Elorcana is a passion project built by fans for the fans of the game. It’s designed to provide a reliable and accurate Elo rating system tailored for competitive players worldwide. Currently in a beta stage, Elorcana is a work in progress, and we’re committed to improving it over time. With more resources and time, we plan to develop more features to enhance the platform and expand its capabilities for the community.

We believe in full transparency, helping players understand exactly how numbers are calculated and tracked. We offer a clear look into the rating evolution process, keeping everything open and accessible for the community.

📈 Elo System

Elo is a widely-used rating system in competitive games, designed to measure and compare the skill levels of players. Ratings adjust as players win or lose matches. In Elorcana, every player starts with a base elo rating of 1500. Each 100 points of rating difference corresponds to a 5% change in expected win rate:

• +100 points: 55% win expectancy
• +200 points: 60% win expectancy
• +300 points: 65% win expectancy

🏆 Tournaments

Elorcana tracks all official tournaments, as well as community tournaments with over 512 participants, ensuring only the most significant competitions are included. Smaller tournaments are also tracked if they represent elite-level play earned through qualifications, such as Championships or Worlds events.
